LVRE POA Update

As covid-19 is again on the upswing throughout the US and Arizona, it is unlikely we will have a public board meeting in the upcoming months.   In the meantime, we will continue to use these emails to keep you informed.

USPS Parcel Box

IMG_0264.jpg

We have installed a communal parcel box at the mailbox bank to hold oversized USPS packages for LVRE members.  Here's how it works: The USPS mail carrier will provide a notice in your mailbox that you have an oversized package.  Use the combination **** to open the lock and retrieve your package.  Make sure the package is yours.  Use the box handles to open and close the box lid safely.  Open the lid completely to lock in place.  Leave the notice in the parcel box.  Be sure to lock the box securely by spinning the combo numbers.

Warning and Disclaimer:   The oversized parcel box is provided solely for the convenience of LVRE members.  The LVRE POA is not responsible for lost or damaged mail or injury from using the box.  If you do not agree with these conditions please leave a note in your mailbox for our mail carrier that you do not wish to use the parcel box.

Speed Limit

Excessive speed on our roads by some homeowners and contractors continues to be a safety issue.  Please slow down.  You can expect to encounter people walking, kid(s) playing, the occasional biker, cows and calves, deer, cottontails,  jackrabbits, turkeys, and the occasional bear (see next article).  As a reminder to slow down and drive safely, we installed 4 new Speed Limit signs at select locations on LV Ranch Road.

Bear Sighting

First turkeys and now a black bear.  A few weeks ago, Darrell Bryant observed a black bear in his yard.  While not uncommon at higher elevations in Prescott National Forest they rarely venture this low.  Click here to see a video; narration is by Darrell.
